As a living fossil Yao folk songs, in the long years of transmission, it maintains a very primitive national singing style. It is characterized by freedom of speech, simplicity, colloquialization, life, simple melody, low back, sadness, whine, and unique musical forms. These are portraits of the history at that time and an embodiment of long-distance relocation of the former Yao people. Yao people can create their own language, but did not create their own text. Therefore, the Yao folk songs are not written out or comprehended by the composers, but rather they were drafted orally improvised by the Yao people in their long-term production and life. It is like a mirror that shows the extraordinary people who discharged the Yao people. Wisdom and talent.
