一般花木枝接,砧木与接穗的牢固愈合,需半个月左右时间,晚秋腹接的愈合时间更长。为使在此段时间内的接穗不失水过多,保持较长的生命力,春季枝接和晚秋腹接接穗均可采用封蜡的办法,即把石蜡放入铝锅内加热熔化,烧到100C左右。先将接穗剪成嫁接时所需的长度,顶端留个饱满的芽子。然后将顶芽的一端放入熔化了的石蜡内1—3秒钟即取出,接着再用手拿住已封蜡的一头,将另一头蘸满石蜡即取出,使整个接穗上薄薄地包上一层光亮的石蜡,只要
