随着宽带接入的逐渐普及,宽带市场的争夺已经成为各大电信运营商的竞争焦点,目前中国国内的互联网骨干建设已经基本完成,国内网络带宽和国际出口带宽状况也得到了很大程度的改善,而城域网作为骨干网络的延伸,是业务的接入和汇聚的平台,是下一代网络落地的关键点,因此城域网的多业务承载将成为下一阶段各运营商网络优化和改造工作的重点。在这样的背景下,IP城域网的建设已经成为了国内外各级电信运营商的关注的焦点。本文就阐释了作者在IP城域网领域多年工作的一些心得和对IP城域网发展尤其是多业务承载的若干思考。
