我这篇文字,以自我(Self)的思想与意见作经,而以许多与我共鸣的思想与意见作纬。我手边没有参考书籍,当然不能引证一个详细,也当然我的思想或许矛盾,我的意见或许错误。薰琹五月二十日于常熟画第一须有气韵,才能说是画。没有气韵虽是画而非画,不是真实的艺术品。南齐的谢赫的六法上,第一也就是气韵。他说:
