山东境内现有木蠹蛾六种,其中以东方木蠹蛾Holcocerus orientalis Gaede.及榆木蠹蛾(柳干木蠹蛾)H.vicarius Wlkr.分布广泛。 东方木蠹蛾曾作为Cossus cossus的一个亚种,命名为orientalis Gaede.。后因两性触角皆为线状,移入Holcocerus属,并为单独的种。 分布:山东29个市(县)、安徽(蚌埠和怀远)、江苏(南京和射阳)、湖南(澧县)、江西(九江和泰和)、河南(汝南)、贵州(贵阳和龙里)、上海、北京、天津等省、市;朝鲜,日本,苏联。 主要危害旱柳、垂柳、龙爪柳、榆树、麻栎、国槐、沙兰杨、滇杨、桃树、白蜡等。
