本文介绍了采用白云石砂为原砂制造模具钢铸件产生铸造气孔的类型和特点,在实际生产条件下,对不同的冶炼和铸造工艺形成气孔机理铸进行了研究和探讨,观察统计了产生A型、B型、C型气孔的冶炼、浇注、铸型条件,提出采用新料和返回料冶炼,控制钢液内气体的方法,加强钢液内强制脱氧措施,以保证降低钢液在铸型的二次氧化。铸型方面严格控制气体来源,型内撒铝粉补充脱氧,控制浇注温度等措施,最终使气孔废品从占整个废品率30—50%,降到1%以下,收到良好的技术、经济效果。
