10月30日:旅途中的消息正值34岁的鲍康尧在不断的奔波中开始了1949年的最后一段困难旅程。这位皮肤白皙,风度翩翩的本地青年,在南屏、澳门和中山三地转换着三个社会角色:家长、孝子和教师。中山翠亨总理纪念中学的课堂上,他的教师身份掩护着另一个秘密职务:中共中山县第五区负责人。这一年10月30日凌晨3点,出翠亨上岐关公路,沿路西行北去,40公里路程到达中山石岐县城,鲍康尧和400多人在清凉的晨风中赶路,这是一群年轻的教师和学生。在中学党支部发动下,他们前去迎接解放军两广纵队进入石岐。预先获得的消息让他们很兴奋,顾不上徒步的辛苦。
