自1982年9月债务危机爆发以来,拉美国家为克服这场危机,摆脱困境,纷纷开始了广泛的经济调整。七年来,拉美国家的经济调整大体上经历了由被动调整到自觉调整,从紧缩型调整到发展型调整的转变过程。在时间上大致可划分为两个时期:1982年～1985年为被动应急型调整时期,1986年以后为发展创造条件的调整时期。
Since the outbreak of the debt crisis in September 1982, Latin American countries started extensive economic restructuring in order to overcome this crisis and get out of their predicament. In the past seven years, the economic adjustment in Latin American countries has generally undergone a transformation from passive adjustment to conscious adjustment and from a tightening adjustment to a developmental adjustment. In terms of time, it can be roughly divided into two periods: the period of passive emergency adjustment from 1982 to 1985 and the period of adjustment for the development after 1986.
