1.前言 两次石油危机引起的电费上涨严重地打击了日本的制铝工业。尽管日本制铝业的电耗指标在世界领先,但是80％靠石油发电的日本毕竟抵不过76％靠水力和煤炭发电的美国和100％靠水力发电的加拿大。于是日本的制铝工业完全丧失了国际竞争能力。六家大制铝公司大量亏本。为了寻求生路和恢复长期竞争能力,日本各制铝公司在政府的协助下正在大力开发新的制铝工艺。鼓风炉法
1. Introduction The rise in electricity tariffs caused by the two oil crises has hit Japan’s aluminum industry seriously. Although Japan’s power consumption is the highest in the world, 80% of Japan’s oil-producing countries, after all, can not afford to compete with 76% of hydro-coal-powered U.S. and 100% of hydro-powered Canada. So Japan’s aluminum industry completely lost its international competitiveness. Large aluminum companies six large loss. In an effort to find ways to survive and to restore long-term competitiveness, Japanese aluminum companies, with the government’s assistance, are aggressively developing new aluminum processes.
