本文简要地介绍了国际上运用远程教育的模式进行师范教育的历史背景,并概述了远程教育的影响及其所处的地位。文章分析了远程教育如何帮助发展中国家解决了教师短缺和教学质量的问题,并探究远程教育在师范教育中是否能发挥独特有效的作用。教学过程的互动技术、鼓励学生参与教学的方法以及为适应特殊群体的需要而实行的多样化教学模式,都已产生了非常积极的效果。那些将远程教育和主流教育体制相结合的教学计划往往会更为成功,因为这样的计划非常明智地将远程教育和传统教育方法结合起来,弥补了师范教育仅仅采用远程教育的致命缺陷,也就是远程教育不利于组织教师进行实习的问题。文章提出了在发展中国家开展远程师范教育的研究议程的建议。
This article briefly introduces the history background of teacher education in the world by using the mode of distance education and gives an overview of the impact of distance education and its position. This article analyzes how distance education can help developing countries solve the problem of teacher shortage and teaching quality and explores whether distance education can play a unique and effective role in teacher education. Interactive techniques in teaching processes, ways to encourage students to participate in teaching, and diverse teaching models that are adapted to the needs of particular groups have had a very positive effect. Teaching programs that combine distance education with mainstream education systems tend to be more successful because such programs combine the distance education with traditional educational methods very wisely and make up for the fatal flaws of teacher education using mere distance education, Distance education is not conducive to organizing teacher internships. The article proposes the development of a research agenda for distance teacher education in developing countries.
