党的十四大以来,随着经济的持续、快速、健康的发展,居民收入稳步增长,生活质量明显提高。一、居民收入稳步增长五年来,上海居民家庭的收入水平实现了两次较大突破:一是1993年户均收入超过了一万元,使市区居民家庭的平均年收入达到“万元户”水平;二是1996年进一步突破二万元,使上海人民生活在全国处于领先水平。据对500户市区居民家庭的抽样调查,1996年,上海居民家庭平均每户全年实际收入达2.51万元,比1991年增长2.13倍;其中可用于家庭生活开支的生活费收入为2.37万元,比1991年增长2.19倍。
