“中国有句古话,‘工欲善其事,必先利其器。’话剧演员不把台词念好,就好比用拙劣的工具,要想做出巧活来是不可能的。”这是欧阳予倩院长在台词座谈会上说的话。中央戏剧学院为了提高台词教学质量,于三月二十二日—二十六日,举行了台词课教学座谈会,这是该院第一次的学术性座谈会,参加会议的除了中央戏剧学院的专业教师,兼课教师和协助台词课的语言研究所的教师外,还有北京各话剧院的导演、演员。电影学院及上海戏剧学院也都派了专人参加。苏联戏剧专家古里也夫,也亲自参加了会议,并作了重要的发言。会议是以报告、座谈、观摩台词课内容表演汇报
