龙印类(含降龙类)龙是古代传说中一种神异的动物,是人们根据蛇的图腾崇拜进而想象出来的。拖长尾,具双角,有四爪,披鳞甲,驾云吐火,兴云布雨,神通广大。类龙的名目较多:蟠螭、虬、应龙、蛟螭、夔等等。古籍中有较多龙的记述,《周易·乾卦》:“飞龙在天”;《说文解字》:“龙,麟虫之长,能幽能明,能短能长,春风而登天,秋风而潜渊。”古代玉、石器、青铜器、画像砖、瓦当、玺印上常刻画有龙的形象,形形色色,惟妙惟肖。早期的龙,其形或类兽,后来才定型为长身波曲的龙形。在此,我们选取一些有代表性的肖形龙印,作一简要分析。其造型手法与艺术风格多姿多彩,实是美不胜收。
