“百人计划”成效显著6年来中科院共有422位青年科技专家入选“百入计划”(包括国家杰出青年基金获得者列入“百入计划”管理的140位),其中通过正常招聘从国内外引进的有282位,他们中有195位(占69.1%)的入选者来自国外、28位(占10%)来自院外、59位(占26%)来自院内;他们中98.2%的人有博士学位,其中在国外获博士学位的占46%。1994年度、1995年度“百人计划”的30位入选者已经通过了终期评估,他们共撰写、出版学术专著8部;在国内外核心刊物发表论文922篇;申请国内外专利33项;获国家、院、省部级奖9项;20余人“国家
