The National Committee for Standards of Technical Standards for Occupational Diseases Diagnostic Standards Subcommittee held its first plenary meeting in Xinhui County, Guangdong Province from March 29 to April 4. The meeting reviewed the diagnostic criteria of five occupational diseases such as benzene poisoning, trinitrotoluene poisoning, carbon disulfide poisoning, manganese poisoning and industrial fluorine disease which were issued by the Ministry of Health in the “Working Arrangements for Health Standards Development in 1981” and discussed Implementation of occupational diseases from 1981 to 1985
