亚细亚生产方式理论研究讨论已经进行半个世纪了。随着时间的推移,对这一理论的探讨,分歧愈见加深,这不能不引起史学理论界的重视。亚细亚生产方式理论揭示了古代东方奴隶制生产方式的最本质特征和发展规律,《资本主义生产以前的各种形式》一文是这一理论的核心篇章,是开启古代东方社会神秘大门的一把钥匙。然而,该文的地位和理论指导意义,在东方史研究中一直未能得到应有的评价和重视。及时深入研究《资本主义生产以前的各种形式》一文,以澄清亚细亚生产方式研究在理论上和概念上的混乱状况,实是当前史学理论研究深入发展的要求。
Asiatic mode of production theory has been discussed for half a century. With the passage of time, the discussion on this theory has deepened its divergence. This can not but cause the attention of historians and scholars. The theory of mode of production in Asia shows the most essential features and laws of development in the production of ancient oriental slavery. The article entitled “The Various Forms Before Capitalist Production” is a core chapter of this theory and a key to opening the mysterious door of ancient Eastern society . However, the status and theoretical significance of the article have not been properly evaluated and valued in the study of oriental history. The timely and in-depth study of the various forms of capitalist production in order to clarify the theoretical and conceptual confusion in the study of Asian modes of production is a requirement of the in-depth development of current theoretical studies of history.
