先天性眶底或上颌窦顶壁的骨缺损并不少见,通常无自觉症状,上颌窦内感染可通过该缺损扩散至眶内。窦顶壁的裂隙常与眶下神经管有关。当骨管不完整神经暴露时,可导致眶下神经所支配的面部区域疼痛,偶尔在用力作Valsalva式动作及分娩时能在该处造成自发损伤,出现面部皮下气肿。本文报道两例病人,系上颌窦病变经窦顶骨缺损致眼眶并发症。例1为慢性鼻窦炎反复发作,X线示眶下壁有缺
Bone defects of the congenital orbital or maxillary sinus are not uncommon and usually have no symptoms. The maxillary sinus infection can spread to the orbit through the defect.
