新疆光热充足,干燥少雨,昼夜温差大,病虫害少,是发展葡萄生产最理想的地区。 葡萄是新疆著名特产。目前栽培的品种约200多个,其中无核白葡萄占四分之一。无核白源自西亚,后又从新疆传入内地。鲜葡萄含糖量22%左右,而在内地一般只有百分之十三、四;风味好,酸度适中。公元三世纪初魏文帝曹丕于昭书中写道:“南方龙眼、荔枝、宁比西国石密乎”(这里说的西国是指新疆,石密是指无核白葡萄)。

At the beginning of the third century AD, Wei Wendi Cao Pi wrote in his book: “Longan, litchi and Ningbishi in the south are close to stone” (in this case, the West refers to Xinjiang and the stone refers to non-nuclear white grapes).
