院成立于1993年,隶属于乌鲁木齐市城乡规划管理局副县级事业单位,城市规划设计甲级资质,建筑设计乙级资质以及市政设计丙级资质。内设总工办、规划设计一室、二室、三室、城市规划研究室、建筑设计室、办公室等7个室(办),目前全院员工九十余人。业务工作院业务工作主要由市政府指令性规划编制任务、建设单位委托性规划编制任务。重点开展了总体规划、城镇体系规划、专项规划、详细规划、规划研究、交通规划、市政设施规划等规划编制和研究工作。根据乌鲁木齐城市建设发展的实际需要,
