在商品经济发展的今天,全国机电行业产品滞销,市场如战场般竞争激烈、许多厂家在激烈交锋中纷纷落马,其余企业仍在竞争硝烟中残喘.然而,一个只有500余名职工的小厂——黎城水泵厂却连续闯关夺隘,奇迹般地迅速发展,在全省乃至全国同行业中独领风骚,五年兼并了三个厂,赚回了两个厂,提前两年跨入省级先进企业行列,在全省同行业首家摘取了省质量管理最高荣誉——“省质量管理奖”.现在,这个厂已成为中国泵联成员厂,两种产品获部优、四种获省优.1991年,这个厂的15种产品在国际市场中标.这一年的5月,这个厂荣获“山西省社会主义劳动竞赛一等功”.
