Changes are inevitable and should not be cited for reference purposes only. 0 Foreword The only difference between the MJ thread basic profile and the metric thread basic profile (ISO68) is the increased shaving height of the female thread ID D_1 (from 0.2500H to 0.3125H). This is due to the fact that the external thread internal diameter d_3 is required for the maximum fillet radius of 0.18042P (see ISO / DIS 5855 / II).
