锦豇2号豆角是我校蔡徽恒老师培育出的豆角新品种,该品种自1996年在南宁、钦州、合浦、北海、防城等地试种以来表现良好。和其它品种相比,锦豇2号豆角具有产量高、抗性强、品质优、口味好等特点深受菜农及市民欢迎,生产的种子大部分卖给回头客,市场前景良好,在桂南沿海一带有很高的知名度。锦豇2号豆角株高3.0～3.5米,叶片肥厚,叶色浓绿,生长势强,主侧蔓均结荚,主蔓第3～4节着生第一花序,每花序着生花2～4对,嫩荚横径100～1.07厘米,大条粗壮,荚长50～60厘米,单荚重25.8～28.6克,单荚产量高,肉厚,纤维少,种子颜色黑白相嵌,豆荚均匀,无鼠尾荚现象,单荚种子数18～24粒,迟熟,抗性
