自八五年北京《中国现代书法展》至今,已近十年约数。今年的北京——据中国美术馆研究部主任刘曦林先生说,在邓小平南巡讲话以后,美术书法界的冠以「现代」一词为名的展览才多起来——比较突出的,作者自己也明白告诉观众具有现代精神品质的书法展览,就有四川的刘炎琦个展、留美回来的王冬龄教授个展和以他为首的,十二位科班出身的书法家举办的《九四现代书法》三次展览。
