The development of Japan’s direct investment in China is an important condition for the formation of Japan-Japan Economic Cooperation Zone. For a long time, Japan’s direct investment in China has been undergoing twists and turns with low technical content and has formed a “continental model” that is significantly worse than the “four small” ones in Asia but difficult to make breakthroughs in many years and a regional trend that places too much emphasis on the southeast coast. Although there has been a new trend of accelerated investment growth and structural rationalization in recent years, due to the fiercer international competition in the 1990s, such a favorable momentum will surely encounter new challenges and the situation is still grim. Therefore, how to seize the favorable opportunity at present, China and Japan jointly take positive measures and work hard
