The Department of Thoracic Surgery of Henan Cancer Hospital has performed preoperative radiotherapy + surgery for 618 cases of esophageal cancer patients from 1982 to 1992. The following clinical data are reported for the lymph node metastasis of these patients: 382 males and 236 females in 618 cases. Male: Female = 5:3. Age 28 to 70 years old, average 58.5 years old; Lesions: 393 cases in the middle chest and 192 cases in the upper chest
