In the first half of 2000, the property rights exchange of Shanghai Stock Exchange recorded a new record high: the transactions of various types of enterprises reached 1178, an increase of 6.65 times over the same period of last year; the transaction value reached 18.657 billion yuan, up 3.58 times over the same period of last year.
