软件即服务,是信息化与大数据时代随着互联网技术的发展和应用软件的成熟而兴起的一种创新的软件应用模式,该模式在语言服务行业的直接体现,即是云翻译软件的涌现。本文以Memsource Cloud和Mate Cat为研究对象,概述了这两款云翻译软件的主要功能,并在与单机版和服务器版CAT软件比较的基础上作出评价,阐明云翻译软件的技术优势与应用优势,以及引入翻译技术教学的必要性,最后结合教学实践探讨了云翻译软件的教学内容和教学方法,希望为云翻译软件的深入研究和高校翻译技术教学提供参考。
Software as a Service is an innovative software application model that emerged with the development of Internet technology and the maturity of application software in the age of information and big data. This model is directly reflected in the language service industry, that is, the emergence of cloud translation software . In this paper, Memsource Cloud and Mate Cat are the research objects, and the main functions of these two cloud translation softwares are summarized. Based on the comparison with the standalone and server CAT softwares, the paper expounds the technical advantages and application advantages of the cloud translation softwares , As well as the necessity of introducing the teaching of translation technology. Finally, the teaching content and teaching methods of cloud translation software are discussed in combination with the teaching practice. It is hoped that this will provide a reference for the in-depth study of cloud translation software and the translation technology in colleges and universities.
