在任何一种语言中,习语都是通用词汇中的一个基本组成部分,而且是文化信息特别集中的一些词组或句子。在习语运用方面出现的问题是译者最常遇到的难题之一。在翻译中对习语的处理方法极大地影响着翻译所达到的文化交流的程度。在习语翻译方面如何达到最高程度的文化交流,这与习语翻译的方法密切相关。
In any language, idioms are an essential part of common vocabulary and are phrases or sentences that have a special concentration of cultural information. The problems that arise in the use of idioms are one of the most common problems translators face. The way in which idioms are processed in translation greatly influences the extent of cultural exchange achieved by translation. How to achieve the highest level of cultural exchange in idioms translation is closely related to the method of idiom translation.
