1939年穿单军装的季节,八路军一二九师晋冀豫边区纵队(太行军区的前身)司令部驻在山西辽县的下庄,往东10里是上庄。从上庄东行下二三十里陡峭的摩天岭,山脚下往北是河北省邢台县的浆水川沟。当时国民党河北省政府主席兼游击总司令鹿钟麟及其部属就驻在这浆水川沟一带。
