阜新市实验中学是一所完全中学,是辽宁省首批示范性普通高中,共七个年级(初中为“五四”制),77个教学班,5130 名学生,教职工278名,高级教师144人,一级教师101人,现有特级教师2人,国家级骨干教师2人,省级骨干教师3人, 市优秀专家1人。校长王洪奎是国家优秀教师、特级教师, 2003年被评为辽宁省优秀校长。副校长赵贵祥同志是国家教育系统劳动模范,市优秀专家,2003年评为辽宁省功勋教师。
