In the 1970s, French thinker John Fife set forth the theory of “space production.” Lie’s Critical Theory of Space has greatly influenced the long-held concept of space in the West and its influence has radiated to fields such as human geography, architectural studies, urban planning and social theory. This paper focuses on the connection between Lieber’s theory of space and radical aesthetics, attempting to reveal the aesthetic motivation behind the proposition: building an intact person and restoring a complete body and overall feeling. On the one hand, dialectical spatialization resists the semiotic interpretation of hegemony and visual logic, which calls for the practice of the body. On the other hand, the concept of spatial ternary composition “space ” the history, suggesting that Leh’s diagnosis of Western modernity: constantly leads to space “dehumanizing ”. The production of space can be viewed as a radical aesthetics project: architectural space and urban planning take political liberation (removal of alienation) to the physical level. It is at this point that Lefevere shared a similar sense of problem with pioneer organizations such as Scenario International. Lie’s dialectical grasp of the modern leisure space raises the possibility of rethinking the relationship between aesthetics (emotional liberation) and politics (democratic pursuit). Of course, Lefebvre’s space theory has an unavoidable historical limitation that both body and space must undergo critical torture in the present age. However, this article still insists that “the production of space” dialectically changes the relationship between aesthetics and politics and proposes a new dimension of aesthetics politicization.
