京郊黄瓜枯萎病致病菌经鉴定为尖孢镰刀菌(Fusarium oxysporum Schlecht.)。该病发病最适合温度25~28℃,低于20℃或高于35℃时,发病减轻。相对湿度在80%以上,发病严重。病害消长与黄瓜生育期亦有关系,结瓜期开始显症状,结瓜盛期受害最重。另外,在有根结线虫时,发病也加重。防治试验,是在夏天进行土壤消毒。措施有:(1)清洁田园;(2)每亩施石灰100公斤、碎稻草500公斤;(3)深翻土壤66厘米;(4)起高垅33厘米;(5)灌水,使沟里的水始终呈饱和状态;(6)铺盖地膜、密闭大棚20天。经测定20厘米以上土温平均40℃以上,防治黄瓜枯萎病效果达89.11—91.49%,每亩增产10%左右,还可兼治根结线虫(Meloidogyne sp.)
