The China Chain Store & Franchise Association announced in March its list of the top 100 Chinese companies in the chain in 2002. According to statistics from the survey, in 2002, the top 100 chain stores achieved sales of 246.5 billion yuan, an increase of 52% from 162 billion yuan in the previous year.
