大熊猫是一种古老的动物,堪称活化石,是我国的国宝,有当今“世界明星”之美称。同时也是“政治动物”,世界各国人民都对其十分敏感和关注。大熊猫分布于我国四川、陕西、甘肃三省。对大熊猫保护的好坏,关系到我国在世界上的声誉。本文拟就陕西省大熊猫的保护发表一些浅见。一、大熊猫在陕西的分布与特点1974、1983和1987年,经对陕西省大熊猫资源三次调查,确认在秦岭的洋县、佛坪、太白、周至、宁陕五个县有大熊猫分布。大熊猫主要栖息在秦岭南坡海拔1000—1800米
