翻译既需要扎实的语言基础又需要有广博的知识,在此基础上的技能训练和经验积累才能够培养出真正的译才。本论文通过对某高校翻译第二专业的问卷调查出发,探索利用第二专业提升大学生英语运用能力,特别是英汉互译技巧,培养“分析问题和解决问题的能力”;同时依托二专学生主修专业知识提高其在应用翻译方面的能力。当前翻译专业朝向应用型翻译方向发展过程,翻译第二专业的教学模式能成为继MTI和本科翻译专业教学之后的又一培养应用型翻译人才的新模式。
Translation requires both a solid foundation of language and a broad range of knowledge. Based on this, skills training and experience accumulation can produce true translation. Based on the questionnaire survey on the second major of a college translator, this thesis explores the use of the second major to improve college students’ ability to use English, especially the translation skills of English and Chinese, to cultivate “the ability to analyze and solve problems”. At the same time, Students major in professional knowledge to improve their ability to apply translation. At present, the major of translation studies is toward the direction of application-oriented translation. The second major of translation teaching can become a new model of cultivating applied translators after MTI and undergraduate translation major teaching.
