滤波多音调制(filtered multitone modulation,FMT)技术具有良好的抗多径和信道间干扰的能力,但是作为多载波技术,FMT技术和正交频分复用(orthogonal frequency division multiplexing,OFDM)技术一样有着高的峰均功率比,成为制约FMT技术应用的一个重要因素。本文采用随机信号处理的极值理论推导了FMT信号峰值平均功率比的累积分布函数。分布函数表明FMT信号的峰均功率比的分布和OFDM是相同的,其分布曲线跟原型滤波器的类型、长度等无关。最后通过仿真实验验证了该结论。
The filtered multitone modulation (FMT) technique has a good ability to resist multipath and inter-channel interference, but as a multi-carrier technology, the FMT technique is the same as the orthogonal frequency division multiplexing (OFDM) technique Having a high peak-to-average power ratio has become an important factor restricting the application of FMT technology. In this paper, we derive the cumulative distribution function of peak average power ratio of FMT signal by using the extremum theory of random signal processing. The distribution function shows that the distribution of peak-to-average power ratio of FMT signal is the same as that of OFDM, and the distribution curve has nothing to do with the type, length, etc. of the prototype filter. Finally, the conclusion is verified by simulation experiments.
