白花木继木是良好的园林观赏植物,也是红花木继木的砧木材料。通过对不同冠层空间分布的白花木继木种子进行种子发芽研究,结果表明:在母树南面,树冠上层采集的种子千粒重最大;而出苗率高的种子几乎都是由母树西面、北面以及高度为1.8￣3.0m(母树树冠上层)处采集而来的。
