杨城村石窟,位于陕西省神木县店塔镇杨城村西约2公里处的悬崖之上,地势非常险峻。石窟开凿处的石质为极易风化的砂质岩石。该石窟系一处单窟,规模较小。它所处的地理位置,西临窟野河,东临故麟州城遗址(图一)。由于该石窟所处位置险峻而且隐蔽,文物普查时被遗漏,在已经出版的《中国文物地图集·陕西分册》中也未见记载。2001年8月,西北大学文博学院的冉万里、王宏、陈新儒等三人,在陕北地区参观宋元时期遗址途中对该石窟进行了调查,并进行了摄影、测绘和文字记录。现将这次的调查结果发
Yangcheng Village Grottoes, located in Shenmu County, Shaanxi Province town Yangcheng Village, about 2 kilometers west of the cliff above the terrain is very dangerous. The rock at the grottoes is extremely weathered sandy rock. The cave is a single cave, smaller. It is located in the geographical position, west of Kuye River, east of Linzhou City ruins (Figure 1). Due to the steep and hidden location of the caves, no artifacts were found during the census of the cultural relics and no records were found in the published “Atlas of China’s cultural relics and Shaanxi”. In August 2001, Ran Wanli, Wang Hong and Chen Xinru from the College of Literature and Art of Northwestern University conducted a survey on the grottoes during their visit to the ruins of the Song and Yuan Dynasties in northern Shaanxi.
