钛是铝合金基体的强烈细化剂。钛加入铝合金能与铝形成Al_3Ti的化合物,它与铝发生包晶反应而成为结晶核心使铝的基体细化。在铝合合的熔铸中,钛主要以铝钛中间合金形式加入铝合金。由于Al_3Ti的比重较大,在液态能产生比重偏析而造成合金成份的不均匀,且能集聚成粗大的针片状脆性化合物分布于合金中,从而削弱了基体,恶化了合金性能。为得到加钛合金的细化效果,要进一步开展对铝合金加钛工艺的研究。铝合金加钛后的细化效果与Al-Ti中间合金质量有关,但主要地决定于合金的熔制工
Titanium is a strong refiner for aluminum alloy substrates. Titanium added to the aluminum alloy can form Al_3Ti compounds with aluminum, which peritectic reaction with aluminum and become the core of the crystallization of aluminum matrix refinement. In aluminum alloy casting, titanium is mainly added as aluminum-titanium master alloy into the aluminum alloy. As the proportion of Al_3Ti is larger, the specific gravity in the liquid can cause the segregation of the specific gravity to cause the alloy composition to be non-uniform, and the agglomeration into coarse needle-shaped brittle compounds can be distributed in the alloy, thus weakening the matrix and deteriorating the properties of the alloy. In order to obtain the refinement effect of titanium alloy, further research on the titanium addition process of aluminum alloy should be carried out. The refinement effect of aluminum alloy after adding titanium is related to the quality of Al-Ti master alloy, but mainly depends on the melting of the alloy
