Competition and cooperation have always been the two major themes of international political and economic relations. Under the framework of globalization and WTO, large multinational corporations have become the de facto decision makers in the global economy by establishing a globalized production network to monopolize and control global production and markets. However, the profitability of capital determines their opportunistic use of resources and infrastructure without any intention of improving their capacity for sustainable development. As a result, globalization has also brought about a negative impact on the sustainable development of the economy of the country and the region while promoting trade liberalization.
