在英语学习中,最令学生头痛的一件事情就是记忆英语单词。他们通常采用死记硬背的方法,既浪费了大量的时间和精力,成效又低。本文笔者总结了十几年的教学经验,希望对如何让学生既快速又准确地记忆英语单词起到抛砖引玉的作用。一、形象记忆法这种方法主要是利用单词整体或局部结构的象形性,发挥学生的想象力,想象出某种含义,以便学生理解,从而达到快速记忆的目的。如学生经常分不清楚“glass”和“grass”这两个单词,教师就可以形象地告诉学生:“‘玻璃’是直的,所以字母l是直的;而‘草’的叶子是开叉的,所以字母r是开叉的。”
