碳素工具钢水油双液淬火是热处理的主要传统工艺,但对于缺乏经验的工人来说,并非一朝一夕所能掌握,尤其是凹模淬火要减少收缩变形难度更大。如140×120×25mm的模板,在8%NaCl水溶液中淬火,按照习惯的有效厚度计算法,以3.5mm/s计算,则水冷时间为7秒,而实际上水温在O℃时仅需3秒:中间若开80×50mm的型腔,20℃时仅需3秒,实际时间与计算的要相差一倍以上,足见其不合理。本文通过对双液淬火过程的分析,提出一种简单易行的估算水中冷却时间,使这种传统工艺能迅速为人所掌握。
