在中国航天泰斗级人物中,任新民算得上是颇有特点的一位。你看他,曾是新中国新一代液体火箭、中国第一代通信卫星工程、中国第一代气象卫星工程的总师。如今,已是80多岁的老人了,但仍终年为航天奔波,一年有一半以上的时间下基层、去基地、参加评审、出席会议。好一位没有晚年的航天老人。要完整地讲叙这位航天老人一生的故事,恐怕不是一件容易的事。这篇文章涉及到的只是这位老人一生的故事篇章中的极有限的几个片断。
