随着我国对外贸易的快速发展,对既懂外贸知识又有一定外语能力的国际贸易人才的需求越来越大。在市场需求的指引下,在许多高校,外贸英语成为最普遍开设的一门课程。而目前外贸英语的教学效率并不高,教学效果无法满足社会需求。其表现为国际贸易理论和实务专业知识的匮乏和落后,理论与实践操作技能培养的脱节。外贸英语是一门复杂的课程,其内容包括商务信函写作、贸易关系建立、谈判沟通技能、制单结汇、保险办理、投诉理赔等方面的知识和技能。
With the rapid development of China’s foreign trade, there is an increasing demand for international trade professionals who have both foreign trade knowledge and certain foreign language ability. Under the guidance of market demand, in many colleges and universities, foreign trade English has become the most widely held course. At present, the teaching efficiency of foreign trade English is not high, and the teaching effect can not meet the needs of the society. The performance of international trade theory and practical expertise lack of and backwardness, theoretical and practical skills training out of touch. Foreign trade English is a complex course that includes knowledge and skills in writing business letters, establishing trade relations, negotiating communication skills, making single settlement, insurance handling, and claim settlement.
