今年7月20日8时,三峡工程迎来了流量达7万立方米/秒的洪峰,超过1998年的最大峰值。洪水经由三峡大坝拦截后,出库流量减少到4万立方米/秒,有效缓解了特大洪峰对中下游河道的冲击。

At 8:00 on July 20 this year, the Three Gorges Project ushered in the flow rate of 70,000 cubic meters / second peak, exceeding the 1998 peak. After the flooding intercepted by the Three Gorges Dam, the discharge from the reservoir was reduced to 40,000 cubic meters per second, effectively alleviating the impact of the huge flood peak on the middle and lower reaches of the river.
