This report includes the results of uranium exploration in Mongolia, geology and mineralization, uranium ore formation and uranium mineralization, as well as descriptions of known deposits and the uranium-rich areas with the highest degree of research. Uranium deposits, uranium point exploration includes eight ore-bearing layers. Mongolia can be divided into four major metallogenic areas: Mongol-Priargun, Gobi-Tamtsag, Hentei-Daur, North-Mongolian. The Dornod deposit, which has undergone detailed exploration, contains uraninite, a uraniumite, that reticulate mineralization. Among the gently inclined layers that occur in the depths of 30-50m to 500-600m, the ore of the Gurvanbulag deposit is uraninite-bitumen uranium and exhibits a spreading shape. Estimated reserves (RAR + EAR-I) are based on material from the Nars prospect in the eastern Dornod, Gurvanbulag, Mardain-gol, Nemer, South Haraat and Nars. Currently, a total of 1.47 million tons of uranium reserves are estimated, of which 200,000 tons are produced in Meso-Cenozoic depressions associated with the surface oxidation of the Shuicheng formation. Uranium resources proved to be 4% (59,000 tonnes) of total uranium resources (RAR + EAR-I). Based on this type of mineral raw material, total estimated uranium resources in Mongolia, one of the major countries in the world, have been found in East Gobi, a new large-scale mined area that contains near-surface uranium-rare metal mixed mineral deposits. The information presented is based on the most reliable and realistic village materials and is best used in Mongolia’s geological exploration efforts and uranium mining industry development plans.
