学习语言学要求有：１．扎实的基础，包括较高的语言文字水平（写作水平、阅读古籍和国外文献的能力），必要的历史文化知识，必要的数理基础，必要的听音、记音和社会调查的技能；２．广博的知识，包括和语言学直接或间接有关的各个学科的知识以及一般知识；３．严谨的态度，要求尊重事实，材料可靠确切，分清他人成果和自己的心得，不掠人之美，事事有出处，要＂知之为知之，不知为不知＂千万不要强不知以为知，要虚心，不要说满话，要严谨以律己，宽容以待人。
