2009年12月29日,中共中央政治局审议并通过了《中国共产党党员领导干部廉洁从政若干准则》。《廉政准则》的颁布实施,是新形势下坚持党要管党、从严治党,加强对党员领导干部教育、管理、监督的现实需要;是加强反腐倡廉制度建设、完善惩治和预防腐败体系的重要举措;是加强和改进新形势下党的建设、夺取全面建设小康社会新胜利的重要保证。
