天地造化,古今奇观,堪称世界绝景的特殊形象自然景观——毛公山,座落在海南乐东县境内的保国农场总部东面1000米处。毛公山,原为保国山,其峰群突兀,逶迤绵延,呈东北——西南走势。海拔高度为630米,相对高度320米,山质结构均为花岗岩组成。1991年有一学者来到保国农场,突然发现山顶的自然景观形状酷似已故伟人毛泽东主席仰卧苍穹,形态逼真,雄奇壮观。其山因此而得名为毛公山。毛公山其像形的头部,乃一硕大的花岗岩石呈托而成,长156.2米,宽82.2米,额53.4米;两眉至鼻尖长51.4米,鼻尖至下巴长51.4米。眼睛、鼻子、嘴唇、脖颈、胸部凹凸分明。且静动传神,活灵活现。连着山的南侧便是保塔山,海拔为834.1米,与中央警卫部队编号“8341”巧合。在“毛公山”的东部有东方红村,西部有保国村、保国农场,
