本文提出应用探地雷达技术来探测地下掩埋的固废钢瓶,说明了探测测线布置的原则和方法,利用雷达电磁波反射的原理对探地雷达扫描探测的图像进行了解释,指出地下中空壳体截面具有典型的“双曲线”形的图像特征。在对江油开发区的一个钢瓶探测实例分析的基础上,指出应用探地雷达的正演分析来对探测图像进行对比印证研究,可以提高探测判定的准确性和可靠性,为地下固废钢瓶的安全处置提供必要的基础资料。
